Defiant protesters from Democracy Village march to Downing Street disregarding the restrictive Serious Organized Crime and Police Act 2005 (SOCPA) which requires previous permission from the police, with a message diametrically opposite Government policy, and on the day that three Appeal Court Judges, Master of the Rolls Lord Neuberger, Lady Justice Arden and Lord Justice Sir Stanley Burnton, have ruled that Boris Johnson the Mayor of London can evict these peace protesters from Parliament Square Gardens. 16th July 2010 Downing Street, London, UK
Legal note:
The Judges ruling, in regard to the Democracy Village peace campaign in Parliament Square Gardens, seems to place more importance on the Gardens bylaws and regulations than Universal Human Rights and War crimes.
