Yoko Ono artist and musician. Twickenham Film Studios, England, 14 January 1969. portrait by Richard Keith Wolff
PS:
I sometimes wonder if Yoko Ono is a somewhat misunderstood artist, partly because she was artistically before her times! This portrait of her, I took on Kodak infrared colour transparency film in 1969, a specialised film stock that was used by scientists and the military. It was restricted and difficult to get hold of. Also, strange to work with, because it was sensitive to light outside the visible spectrum, and easy to fog. It could produced a bizarre look that I took to be psychedelic. RKW
