Mounted and riot police continue to cordon of the area around the Bank of England. The controversial police technique fad of 'kettling' holding protesters into an area was being implemented. The protest is against the irresponsible management of the economy in the economic crisis demonstration “G20 Meltdown” on the day before the London G20 summit, described as Financial Fools Day. The RBS logo for the highly criticised Bank of Scotland can be seen in the background behind the police. Threadneedle Street, City of London,1st April 2009,
