Canary
A mock Canary carried on a stretcher with a label with the words RIP Canary Wharf 1990 – 2009 in the centre and surrounded by the names of the main British high street banks. The Bank of England can be seen in the background on the right. The demonstration relates to the financial difficulties for the public on what the campaigner organisers describe as Financial Fools Day, the day before the G20 to be held at ExCel centre near Canary Wharf.
