Norman D Kauffman, attending the British Animation Awards 2006, BAA. Kauffman joined TVC in 1963 and is now a company director. In the early days in 1964, after the Beatles attended a viewing at TVC, then in 36-38 Dean Street Soho London, of the first Beatles TV cartoon episodes, during an evening buffet held after the screening Norman Kauffman noticed John Lennon going under a table. Kauffman ever the thoughtful host followed him under the table to see if John Lennon was alright. John Lennon was fine just needed a breather from the public and fancied being under the table and renamed Norman ‘Normal’ for asking the question. London, UK, 10th March 2006
