Annawon Weeden, member of Wampanoag Nation Singers & Dancers, from the Cape Cod area, Massachusetts. Annawon Weeden, is an exponent of Native American culture, from the Mashpee (Massippie) Wampanoag tribe. It was the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe, which played generous host and guide to the Plymouth Pilgrims on their arrival in 1620, for their first Thanksgiving in 1621 and helped them in the years that followed.
