Trellick Tower

Trellick Tower opened in 1972, picture as seen from Golborne Rd Overbridge taken 2024. I am not a great fan of brutalist architecture but this one is a landmark. The British / Hungarian architect Erno Goldfinger, whose name inspired Ian Fleming, to name his James Bond novel “Goldfinger” and criminal adversary to the fictional British secret agent James Bond character, 'Auric Goldfinger'. James Bond was named after the author of a bird watching book: “Birds of the West Indies”. If you know any famous novelists perhaps be careful not to tell them your name!
