Sloane Square London Underground station sign, displayed with others in Sloane Square tube station. An unmistakable design symbol that is used throughout the London Underground system for over a hundred years. The originally logo was designed by a typographer Edward Johnston, commissioned by Frank Pick from London Underground’s publicity department in 1913. The roundel was re-proportioned in 1917.
