Meet up with some good friends in the pub ‘Golden Road Brewing’ in Glendale. It was just terrific seeing Claire Williams again, and Gaston Marzio whose wry sense of humour has survived the rigours of life in LA. It’s a bit like the old days in Soho, London. Though two main differences, the place is almost on the train tracks so every now and then when a train goes by, it’s horn honks honks loudly in grand cinematographic style like we are in a film made in this LA city (no overground trains in Soho.) Another difference is this time around I drink too much root beer (a sweet drink bit like Coca-Cola the only thing it tastes nice! RKW
