PS: When you cannot quite see to the end of a lane because it has a curve in it, then it is only natural curiosity to wonder what is around the corner just out of sight. I have read that this is a devise used in garden design, curved paths to draw the visitor in. It is also a method used in story telling, so the reader wants to know what happens next, because if the story is predictable it will be a lot less interesting. rkw
