Paddington Trail ran from the 4th November until 30 December 2014, with fifty individual Paddington Bear statues designed by celebrities, displayed across London ahead of the film. Paddington Trail raised money for NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children), childLine and Action Medical Research, when the bears were sold at auction. This individual Paddington Bear statue was designed by Stephen Fry and is now displayed in the British Film Institute. Paddington Bear was created in 1956 by Michael Bond (1926 - 2017).
