Len Lewis (1943- 1992), founder of Shootsey Animation, a television commercials production company in Soho London. Previously Len Lewis worked extensively with Geoff Dunbar at Halas & Batchelor, then, Grand Slamm Animation and other production companies before starting his own company. Len Lewis, born in Nagpur, India, however for the majority of his working career he was based in London, animation director, animator (and drummer). Lewis worked on cartoon short films, TV series, commercials. The last two years of his life he worked in Dublin a place he called his spiritual home. Dublin, Ireland, 1992
