Theosophical Society Gardens

I visited the headquarters of the Theosophical Society, an international organisation who study all religions and philosophies. It was founded by Helena Blavatsky, Henry Steel Olcott and others in 1875. A helpful official kindly let me take a look at their gardens, which may have been closed.

The grounds are beautiful with shrines, temples, small churches and references, dedicated to many religions. It looked utopian and almost to good to be true, in a way it was for me, a zealous guard took an interest in me and required all my attention. Though I had at least already had a glimpse of the enchanting garden up to this point. Adyar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
