Michael Culver

Michael Culver, actor and peace campaigner, who is remembered by fans of the Star Wars film saga for playing Captain Needa in The Empire Strikes Back; he played a major part in, the David Lean film, A Passage to India as a bigoted police inspector. Culver, born 16 July 1938 in Hampstead, London, is the son of actor Roland Culver. He is also known for his theatre stage work and by television viewers for his roles including, Major Erwin Brandt in the 1970s BBC drama Secret Army; and he played the Prior Robert in the television series, Cadfael. London, January 3rd 2007.
